CLARKSVILLENOW.COM FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL OFFICIAL RULES

 

  1. Through 11:59PM on August 13, 2012 ClarksvilleNow.com will accept entries for our ‘First Day of School Photo’ contest.  PERSON SUBMITTING PHOTO MUST BE 18 OR OLDER.
  2. To enter, you must log on to ClarksvilleNow.com and complete the necessary registration process which includes submitting a photo of your child/children on his or her/their first day of school.  By submitting a photo, you confirm you are over the age of 18 and have permission from the subjects in the photo or their legal guardians to publicly post the image you submit.
  3. There will be a voting phase beginning at 9am on August 14, 2012 and will end on August 18, 2012 at 11:59pm to determine the winner.  Those wishing to vote must register.  The entrant with the highest number of votes will deemed the winner.  The grand prize is a $250 Gift Card for The Flower Lilly.  Patrons may vote as often as they like.
  4. One entry per person.  One winner per family and household.  The term family shall include spouses, parents, children, grandparents, grandchildren, and co-habituating significant others.  Winners may not win another prize from ClarksvilleNow.com for a period of 30 days.
  5. All entrants agree that their name, voice, photograph, video, character and likeness and entry may be used by ClarksvilleNow.com for promotional purposes.  Winner must waive any claim of royalty and right of remuneration for such use.
  6. All winners assume financial obligations for state and federal taxes and all fees.
  7. The contest is open to those who hold a valid article of state identification and are 18 years of age or older and those 18 or older with a valid military I.D., with the exception of full or part time employees of SAGA Communications (which includes ClarksvilleNow.com), and their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, other radio stations, and members of their immediate families.
  8. ClarksvilleNow.com reserves the right to disqualify any winner if the contest rules have been violated in any way.
  9. ClarksvilleNow.com cannot be held liable and shall have no responsibility for failure to win or claim any prize based on delays, omissions, oversights, or failure of the US Postal Service or allegations of telephone, computer, or internet difficulties.  In the case of a dispute, winner may be required to provide proof of registration.

10.  As a licensee of the FCC and a trustee of the public airwaves, ClarksvilleNow.com and 5 Star Radio reserve the right to interrupt and/or discontinue any contest or promotion (and not award the offered prize) at the discretion of ClarksvilleNow.com management if world events, the national mood, or public safety so warrant. 

11.  No purchase necessary to participate of win.  Void where prohibited by law.  Decisions of ClarksvilleNow.com are final.

12.  In the event the winner is subject to or the subject of any order or legal process issued by any governmental agency having jurisdiction over the affairs of the winner (e.g. garnishment, child support order, judgment, lien and the like), ClarksvilleNow.com’s delivery of the prize to the official representative of the governmental entity claiming a right to the prize shall be deemed to be the award of the prize to the winner. ClarksvilleNow.com shall be entitled to rely in good faith upon any documents presented by the representatives seeking to collect the prize in lieu of the winner. ClarksvilleNow.com shall not be liable for any claim by winner for damages incidental thereto.
